PENDULUM HEALING - POWERFUL ENERGY HEALING AT YOUR FINGERTIPS!

Pendulum Healing is a combination of energy healing and spiritual healing. It works with the energy field of the body like dowsing rods, reacting to the energy emitted from a person’s body, both from healthy and unhealthy tissues. I connect to my healing guides and angels and ask the pendulum to release mental/emotional blocks, clear pain, release causes of a health problem etc in the same way that you would program a crystal. The pendulum then moves from side to side to break up the energy block then swings anti-clockwise to release it, returning to stillness when finished.
 

Uses

So far I have used Pendulum Healing to relieve pain, congestion and inflammation in the physical body, to clear blocked stagnant energy in the chakras and aura and to release negative thoughts, beliefs and emotions held in the mental/emotional bodies. I now include Pendulum Healing in my Reiki sessions and Crystal Healing treatments to clear the underlying causes of a client’s presenting problem, such as anxiety, depression, migraines and physical pain or to assist breaking down and releasing a build-up of negative energy. Pendulum Healing clears the underlying causes a lot faster than Reiki or crystals alone.

In a treatment the pendulum is held over the problematic body part or over the solar plexus if it is a generic condition affecting the whole body or if we are aiming to clear a mental/emotional condition from the subconscious. Pendulum Healing can also be used to clear individual chakras so that they function more effectively. It can also clear any blocks that are preventing you manifesting positive change in your life. For example we can ask it to remove blocks to receiving abundance, creativity, clarity and enhanced intuition.

Pendulum Healing can be applied to other areas of your life where healing is required, such as relationships or work. Many people suffer from low self-worth or slip into self-sabotaging behaviour which adversely affects the way these areas of their lives.

Pendulum Healing can also  be used to clear any negative energy in relationships (bad feelings, lack of forgiveness etc) and to clear negative karma of a family lineage or from past lives. More widely it can help release the negative energy of injustices and help heal communities. It is excellent for healing low self-esteem, self-worth issues, lack of confidence, anxiety and low mood.

 

How does it work?

It is believed that the spinning action of the pendulum creates an energy vortex, sometimes known as a ‘cone of power’. Pendulum commands can be likened to placing thought forms in the energy body which affect the subtle bodies and physical body in a positive way, improving health and wellbeing.

I have found Pendulum Healing to be incredibly powerful for shifting blocks, probably because the energy is focused in and amplified by the energy of the crystal pendulum. Like other healing modalities, Pendulum Healing cannot promise a complete cure but it helps to create conditions that are favourable to healing. I can honestly say that this is one of the most effective forms of healing I have discovered so far.

 

My Experiences

Pendulum Healing can be used for self-healing, healing others and as a distance healing treatment. So far I have used Pendulum Healing on myself to relieve headaches and clear the underlying causes of my migraine-type headaches, namely an intolerance to my triggers of perfume, aftershave and other perfumed smells. For the following two weeks I noticed a marked improvement in my tolerance levels which I would say improved by 70%. Two weeks later I repeated this program and again my tolerance levels have improved considerably. I also used it effectively on myself to clear any blocks to fully connecting with my spirit guides, angels, higher self and spirit and have experienced a much deeper connection, particularly to the angelic realm, since doing so.

I have used Pendulum Healing to relieve a client’s cold symptoms (catarrh and congestion) on her chest which cleared completely after treatment. Pendulum Healing has also helped relieve neck pain, stomach pain and considerably improved the relationship between a client and a friend.

With distance Pendulum Healing I tune in just as I would if sending distant Reiki: you make a mental connection with the person, visualise them, and ask the pendulum to clear and heal whatever the client wants to release.

 

Pendulum Healing Treatment

As stated earlier, I now include Pendulum Healing in my Reiki and Crystal Healing treatments where needed but Pendulum Healing can also be taken as a stand-alone treatment which includes the use of dowsing rods to dowse the state of your chakras, ie whether they are open, closed/blocked or stagnant. I can then rebalance the chakras with the pendulum, as well as work over specific problem areas in the physical body, then finally clear any blocks/negative energy from the subconscious that are preventing you manifesting your goals, such as improved self-confidence and self-worth, attracting love or greater financial abundance, increasing creativity or intuitive abilities.

The treatment can be an hour or half an hour depending on how much clearing you want to do. This treatment is ideal for anyone who holds limiting negative beliefs in their subconscious mind, as well as for all those who want to feel lighter, clearer and more balanced.

Reiki and Crystals

Reiki and crystal healing are two separate healing modalities which are being brought together in one treatment more and more often nowadays. Both are based on energy, or vibration, and are therefore very complementary and compatible. While Reiki is the channelling of universal life force energy, crystals grow in rocks in the ground and are filled with life force energy. Crystals have their own individual crystalline structure and each chemical compound in the crystal gives it both its physical and metaphysical properties. Metaphysical properties usually correspond with colour and shape, for example heart chakra crystals are usually green and pink, third eye crystals are violet/purple.

Crystals vibrate at a certain frequency based on their physical chemical structure and on their own subtle energy or life force. When we carry crystals with us or lay them on various parts of the body, the vibrations of the crystals are assimilated by and transferred to the user/wearer, bringing about healing, balance or new, greater awareness. Everyone and everything is made up of energy (vibration). During crystal healing we absorb and are affected by the energy of the crystals.

Reiki and crystals work so well together because they each amplify the energy of the other. Reiki can amplify a crystal’s particular physical or metaphysical properties further, making it more powerful. This is why so many people nowadays charge their crystals with Reiki healing energy.

 

Using Crystals

Cleansing: Crystals should be cleansed before they are programmed. You can cleanse a crystal by raising its vibration using techniques that remove unwanted energy. This banishes all unwanted programs, thoughts and intentions from the crystal without removing its unique healing powers. There are many methods for cleansing crystals, for example holding them under running water; passing them through incense smoke or smudging them in the smoke of a cleansing herb; ringing tingsha bells over them or using the sound of a Tibetan singing bowl; burying them in sand, earth or salt; passing them through a candle flame (above it!); leaving them on a windowsill in moonlight or sunlight for at least an hour. You can also cleanse tumblestones by placing them on a large generator crystal such as clear quartz, amethyst or citrine. Please note however that salt can be too harsh for some crystals and water is not suitable for water soluble crystals such as selenite, turquoise and chrysocolla.

Programming: Hold your crystal in one or both hands and hold your program or specific intention clearly in mind. Using your will imagine projecting that program into the crystal. Your program can be general, such as programming a crystal to manifest all the healing properties it has, or to channel Reiki, putting all the Reiki symbols into the stone.

Programs can also be more specific such as ‘I program you to help me with my meditations for the highest good’. An amethyst crystal would work well for this. Other examples are using rose quartz to heal heart issues (physical or emotional), haematite to ground your ideas and bring focus, turquoise to overcome panic attacks, fluorite to boost concentration and aid learning, citrine to boost confidence.  You will find if you look in crystal books that each crystal can supposedly help with a variety of things, so programming is a way for you to fine tune what you want the crystal to specifically do for you.

 

Using Reiki and Crystals in a Treatment

Crystals are usually laid on the body over the chakras or wherever else they are needed. The choice of crystal is usually linked to the colour of the chakra to boost/strengthen the energy of the chakra. This is not a hard and fast rule however as choosing crystals is often an art of following guidance.

In my Crystal Chakra Balancing sessions I dowse crystals first, choosing one to balance each chakra. I also ask the client to select any that they are particularly drawn to. I often place a smoky quartz over areas of pain as this stone is excellent for drawing out and absorbing all kinds of negative energy. Crystals are placed on chakras and anywhere else on the body or in the aura if needed. I scan the body and give Reiki to areas of imbalance and boost weak chakras where necessary. Plenty of grounding is given at the end.

 

Other Ways to Use Crystals

In the Reiki Master Healer course students are taught how to create crystal grids for healing others or themselves and how to set up a grid to help manifest their own goals. Grids are a means of aligning crystals to intensify and magnify energy for healing or manifestation. The crystals are programmed with a specific intent, such as to bring a person healing, and the grid is left in place for as long as is deemed necessary. The grid can be energised with just a few additional minutes of Reiki each day.

Perhaps the simplest way to use crystals is to give a person a Reiki programmed crystal to carry with them in their pocket. This focuses their intent upon the programme, such as bringing about healing or enhancing psychic ability, whenever they touch or think of the crystal.

 

Client Experiences

 Client #1 was feeling tired and generally out of balance. She is diabetic, was drinking too much and her skin was not healing well. At her first session aquamarine was selected for her throat chakra. Afterwards she was able to talk about her grief and she felt more grounded afterwards. After the first session she began drinking less. She discovered that cheese and alcohol upset her liver; in fact she couldn’t keep the alcohol down when she had a one-off binge with friends but felt very cleansed afterwards. She craved cucumber, avocadoes and strawberries. By the third session her drinking had been reduced considerably, just limited to a couple of glasses on Friday and Saturday nights. A lot of heaviness (responsibilities) had been lifted from her shoulders. The fourth session was very peaceful. She was becoming more sensitive and was inspired to give herself positive affirmations during the treatment. After sessions 5 and 6 her blood pressure and blood sugar levels were all fine and stable and she felt greater clarity. When she came for her 7^th session, she reported recent joint pain, which was eased considerably with a smoky quartz crystal.

Client #2 has a typically busy, stressful life, combining working full time and looking after two young children. She has just had a couple of sessions so far and finds the Crystal Chakra Balancing treatment more powerful and more colourful than her usual Reiki sessions, seeing a whole variety of different colours – red, orange, turquoise white, green, purple. She described the treatment as shorter but more intense than Reiki on its own and relaxed very well during the treatment.

The Healing Power of Rose Quartz

Rose quartz is widely used today to help heal all kinds of emotional issues and may have been used as a love token as early as 600BC. Throughout history it has also been used to improve skin tone and improve wellbeing. It was prized in the ancient world for its powers of beautification. Facial masks of rose quartz have been recovered from Egyptian tombs. The Egyptian Goddess Isis supposedly rubbed rose quartz crystals on her face to keep looking beautiful. Rose quartz is honoured by Tibetan and Oriental cultures and is still one of the main carving stones used in China today. In the Indian Ayurvedic tradition warmed rose quartz crystals massaged on the skin are said to restore the body’s energy centres.
 

Benefits of Rose Quartz

Physical:

Rose quartz strengthens the physical heart and circulatory system. It helps with chest and lung problems including shortage of breath. It heals the kidneys and adrenals, alleviates vertigo and is said to increase fertility. It can help with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and senile dementia. On the skin it smoothes the complexion and soothes burns and blisters.

Mental/Emotional:

Rose quartz is excellent for all kinds of emotional healing. It is calming, comforting and reassuring and is excellent for use in cases of trauma and crisis. It releases unexpressed emotions, heartache and transmutes old emotional conditioning/behaviour patterns that no long serve. It soothes internalised pain and heals deprivation. It draws off negative energy and replaces with loving vibes. It strengthens sensitivity and empathy and is excellent for mid-life crisis as it aids acceptance of change. Rose quartz dissolves love blockages and opens your heart so you become more receptive to love. Rose quartz can help attract love: place by your bed or in the relationship corner of your home. In an existing relationship it can restore trust and harmony and encourage unconditional love. If you have lost love, it comforts your grief. It teaches you how to love yourself which is vital if you think you are unlovable. It encourages self-forgiveness and acceptance and promotes self-trust and self-worth. It brings compassion, love and balances the emotions.

Spiritual:

Rose quartz is a stone of unconditional love and infinite peace. It purifies and open the heart at all levels, bringing deep inner soul healing and self-love.

 

How to Use

Traditionally rose quartz has been used to treat emotional issues connected to the heart. Before use the stone should be cleansed/cleared in running water, ideally pure. You can also bury it in the earth or in sand or leave out on a windowsill in moonlight or sunlight. You can then program the crystal for your specific purpose, such as to attract love or heal a broken heart, by surrounding the crystal with pure white light, giving it Reiki if you do this and stating your intention.

Many people like to wear rose quartz as a pendant, some stuff a small piece in their bra and some put a tumblestone in their pocket. Try holding a piece to your heart chakra when you’re watching TV. You can also meditate upon the crystal by observing it closely and letting any feelings arise within you that may need releasing and healing. Visualise loving pink waves of energy flowing into your heart chakra.
